Nano-Emulsification
Nano emulsification is a process of mixing two immiscible liquids to form a single phase by means of an emulsifying agent. THC is fat binding, which is why it takes around two hours for it to take effect in an edible form. When a cannabinoid is nano, it is made to be water soluble. The activation time drops from two hours down to 30 minutes or less. This is because nano-sized droplets can penetrate the mouth, throat, and stomach and into the bloodstream without having to make it through the entire digestive tract to the liver.
Once the nano emulsion makes its way to the small intestine, it is more completely absorbed by the body. Many industries are adopting this new method as it is so efficient in administering active pharmaceutical ingredients. We will be bringing many nano-based cannabinoid products to market.
